This AP report about this president's speech in Kansas this afternoon has gone out to the WaPo, USAToday, forbes.com, the San Jose Mercury News, the Kansas City Star, the Guardian, and who knows where else, and contains the following penultimate paragraph:
Bush received a hero's welcome, with long standing ovations and loud
applause as he defended his most controversial positions. There was a noisy
crowd of a couple hundred sign-waving anti-war protesters outside the
arena where Bush appeared. "Wage war, not peace!" they chanted to a
drumbeat.
That can't be right. Anti-war protesters would not chant "Wage war, nor peace."
