subject On "Rooting for the Terrorists"

Mr. Scarborough,

Don't like it when your patriotism is questioned, eh? Well here's a news flash for you: conservatives have these past three years been smearing anyone who dares raise even a suspicion that this president's war might have been ill-conceived and ill-excecuted. This president himself even stooped to such lows in the final week of the mid-term election campaign: "However they put it," he told an audience of Republicans in Statesboro, Georgia on October 29, "the Democrat approach in Iraq comes down to this: The terrorists win and America loses."

Apparently you're only discovering this insidious tactic now that your network has become a target. Looks like a standard tactic from the right-wing playbook has come home to roost! I'm encouraged to see that you've called "insane" Bill O'Reilly's accusation that "the American media is...rooting for the USA to lose in Iraq," but that's really quite easy and anyone can do it. I encourage you to take your newfound enlightenment one step further: publically denounce the use of this smear tactic by your right-wing news media and political colleagues.
